Working together, I offer a safe and supportive therapeutic space in which to engage with, understand and process the difficulties and struggles life presents you with. Reframing challenges as opportunities for growth, therapy offers a dedicated space to discover your creative inner resources, and learn to draw upon them to reconnect with and reclaim lost parts of yourself, so that you may become more in-touch with a deeper sense of authentic Self.
About me and my practice
I would offer that life is deeply complex.
I also would suggest that we are always in relationship: with ourselves, our families, friends, loved ones, communities, geographical-socio-political-cultural settings, ecosystems, the planet/Earth, the uni/multiverse we exist within and arise from.
From this complex set of contexts, we find that things often change, are in flux. We ourselves are not fixed and static, but reflect the complex, dynamic and changing external world, experiencing an array of different sensations, emotions, thoughts, and creative intuitions. We could say we are multifaceted, made up of different aspects that arise to meet the variety of experiences life throws at us, and constitute an internal relational system of their own.
We can get into trouble when we try, or are made to become too fix or static in our ways of being-in-the-world and relating. Doing so, we may deny aspects of ourselves and lose a sense of internal balance and harmony. This can happen at a very young age, due to various emotional upset or trauma. As a result, we may become depressed, anxious, isolated and struggle to find a sense of meaning and purpose.
In therapy, we can use a variety of ways to work with thoughts, emotions, bodily sensation, creativity, dreams, intuitions and whatever comes up for you. In doing so, we may aim to make sense of your experiences and difficulties, and aim to help you draw upon your own internal resources to find balance, harmony, authenticity, a sense of relatedness and connection, meaning and purpose, so that you may engage with life in ways that feel right for you.
Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all encounter. Working in a holistic and integrative-transpersonal way, I draw on a carefully selected and combined set of psychotherapeutic models / theories to be able to tailor a therapeutic approach that is best suited to your needs as an individual.
Experience
I work on a one-to-one basis with adults (18+) online.
I have worked with adult clients of varying ages, backgrounds and identities, with a range of presenting issues from depression and anxiety, addiction issues, grief and bereavement, identity and outsider experiences, existential concerns, health issues and a host of others.
Qualifications
I hold a PGdip and MA in Integrative Transpersonal counselling and psychotherapy.

Initial Consultation
I offer a free-of-charge 20 min initial consultation via zoom, so we can discuss your challenges, needs and hopes for therapy. This meeting will give us an opportunity to see if we might be a good fit and discuss next steps.

Fees
My fees are £70 per 50 min session.
I work on a sliding scale and am happy to discuss a fee adjustment to make working together on a long-term basis financially sustainable.
When I Work
I offer sessions Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at various times in the afternoons and evenings.
